High visibility digits combined with a other features make the 87 series of large-digit production displays well-suited for plant-wide viewing. Core functions include rate, count, elapsed time, tach time, and efficiency. Features such as total count with instantaneous rate and accumulated downtime and actual count with target count and running efficiency help give a complete picture of manufacturing performance, either on the display or reported back to a host computer. Selected red AlGaAs LEDs form 4", 6", 8" or 12" high display digits that are easily read from up to 400 feet. Yellow or green LEDs are also available. A tri-color display option allows automatic changes in display color from green to yellow to red as process parameters change.
