The 10 Gb/s MiniPHY 200-pin optical networking module is available for use in DWDM, SONET, 10 GbE LAN and WAN, and optical switching applications. The MiniPHY 200-pin is MSA-200 compatible and meets the ITU mask while operating over full temperature range. Its low power dissipation (6.8W) helps keep system temperatures at appropriate levels, lending reliability and performance to high-bandwidth interfaces found in switch routers, edge equipment, campus backbone switches, servers and aggregators. The MiniPHY module, measuring 2.9( x 1.6( x .6(, provides a 16-bit parallel LVDS interface using an MSA-200 compatible 200-pin connector, with an optical link distance up to 2 km. The module performs optical-to-electrical and electrical-to-optical conversion, clock/data recovery, transmit clock frequency multiplication, de-serialization and serialization. It is jitter compliant to Bellcore GR-253. The 10 Gb/s MiniPHY 200-pin module is priced at $5,000 per module in quantity.
