The ZP series is a new family of power supplies with three different output configurations in an industry-standard 2" x 4" format. A 20W to 60W single-output version includes all popular voltages from 3.3V to 48V, while 30W to 50W dual- and triple-output versions provide a choice of output combinations and polarities. Typical efficiency of the 48V model is 88%. All three configurations accept a broad range of input voltages: 90 to 264 Vac at 47 to 440 Hz or 120 to 370 Vdc. Operating temperature is between 0°C and 70°C ambient though the supplies usually derate linearly to between 25% and 50% load at 70°C. Cooling the unit can be done through convection or forced-air. The supplies meet EN61000-4-X immunity and class B EMI standards. They are also safety approved to UL60950, CSA60950 and EN60950 specifications and CE marked. RoHS compliancy is expected in December. Applications include data communications, LED signage, point-of-sale displays, and test-and-measurement equipment. Pricing for the ZP series starts at $18 each in OEM quantities.
