Resistance Meter Logs Data, Calculates Min, Max And Avg

Nov. 1, 2000

The PRS-812 is a portable, battery-operated, wide-range ohmmeter that includes data logging and calculating capabilities. Recording and storing up to 80 measurements, the meter calculates the minimum, maximum and average of all stored data. It digitally displays measurements in various formats and can measure resistance values of from less than 0.1 ohms to 1.0 x1012 ohms with a measurement accuracy of ±5%. It can be operated in fully automatic, automatic-manual and manual modes. Multiple test voltages include 0.01V to 10V, constant 10V and 100V ranges. They can be selected automatically by the instrument to comply with industry measurement practices, or manually by the operator. The meter controls test voltage, resistance range and electrification period to make accurate and repeatable measurements.
