The HRM230S IrDA transceiver conforms to IrDA version FIR 1.1 and ASK and offers two transmission speeds of 9.6 kbps to 115.2 kbps (SIR) and 0.576 Mbps to 4 Mbps (FIR) and ASK. The module operates from 3V to 5.5V with typical current draw of 3.8 mA

The HRM230S IrDA transceiver conforms to IrDA version FIR 1.1 and ASK and offers two transmission speeds of 9.6 kbps to 115.2 kbps (SIR) and 0.576 Mbps to 4 Mbps (FIR) and ASK. The module operates from 3V to 5.5V with typical current draw of 3.8 mA and maximum standby current of 1 µA. It is said to be able to withstand two reflow soldering operations. All elements required for wireless transmission are included.
