Analog Switch Reports Best In Class RDS(on)

Enlarging the MightyMUX low-voltage analog switch line, the ISL43410 DPDT switch features an on-resistance of less than 50W at 12V and 25ÞC. On-resistance channel matching is within 0.5W, or 1%, and on-resistance flatness is less than 10W across input voltage and industrial temperature ranges. Operating from a 2V to 12V supply, the device contains two bi-directional SPDT analog switches that are usable as a DPDT switch or a 2:1 differential multiplexer. Other features an off-state leakage current of less than 2.5 nA at 85ÞC, switching speeds of t(ON) = 25 ns and t(OFF) = 24 ns with a 12V supply, and a minimum charge injection of 1.2 pC. Targeted applications include replacements for mechanical relays and switches and switching differential signals. Available in a near-chip-scale, 16-pad QFN and 10-lead MSOP packages, ISL43410IR costs $0.78 each/100 in a QFN and ISL43410IU $0.75 in a MSOP. INTERSIL CORP., Milpitas, CA. (321) 729-4646.
