App Gets New Quantized Filtering Toolbox

April 1, 2000

The MATLAB design environment has been enhanced with a Quantized Filtering Tool Box that is claimed to accelerate the implementation of both fixed- and floating-point digital filters on DSPs and ASICs. The new toolbox features built-in FIR and IIR filter structures that developers commonly require. Users can choose from the selection of filters to determine how closely the performance of the device meets their specifications. The toolbox is available for use on the PC platform for $995.
