It promises to deliver a complete solution for connected audio products with full Linux capabilities, multi-threading, and a wide range of state-of-the-art audio codecs.

The META processing roadmap comprises the META HTP hardware multi-threaded processor/DSP IP core, META Linux, an optimized version of the industry-standard operating system, META CAP, a complete connectivity middleware solution based on the GStreamer multimedia framework, and META AAF, a comprehensive suite of audio codecs implementing all major audio formats including MP2, MP3, AAC, eAAC+, WMA, Dolby Digital, Real, plus audio post-processing tools.
