The AAT4282A, a dual load switch, reduces part counts by integrating two low-resistance, slew-rate controlled load switches in a single 2 mm x 2 mm package. It features two MOSFETs, each with a typical on resistance of 60 milliOhms at 5V. Tailored for high-side load switching apps, the device supports 3V and 5V systems by operating from a 1.5V to 6.5V input range with a quiescent current of 1 µA. Input logic levels are both TTL and 2.5V-to-5V CMOS compatible. Accommodating different design requirements, the chip is available in three versions with different turn-on and turn-off characteristics. The AAT4282A-1 is a slew-rate limited load switch and, for high-speed switching, the AAT4282A-2 offers a turn-on time of less than 500 ns and turn-off times of less than 3 µs typical. The AAT4282A-3 adds a minimized slew-rate limited turn-on function and a shutdown output discharge circuit. Available in an eight-pin, lead-free FTDFN22-8 package, pricing starts at $1.07 each/1,000.
