Software Cuts DSL Design Time

Nov. 1, 2000

Claimed to be the industry's first system-level DSL design software, the xDSL Library enables developers of ADSL, second generation DSL, and related copper-pair modems to easily test their designs for performance and compliance with ANSI and ETSI requirements. The software includes DMT modulation with cyclic prefix, QAM mapper normalized test channels, a custom-channel generator, and normalized forward error coders and decoders. The xDSL Library is available as part of the company's System View suite of design and test tools for DSP and RF systems.
