Capable of generating a continuous output power of 200W the EC-powermax brushless motor in a stainless steel housing weighing 270g measures 30 mm in diameter and 64 mm in length. The motor attains a maximum speed of 22,000 rpm and, via a four-pole rotor, a maximum continuous torque of 18.4 oz-in. Ambient operating temperature range is from -40°C to +100°C. Other features include high-energy neodymium magnets that yield a mechanical time constant of less than 2 ms, and electronic commutation to minimize electrical noise. Motors are available with several different windings and available accessories include gear heads, encoders, brakes, and control electronics.
