Claiming a breakthrough in over-current protection, the company's Compact Circuit Protector (CCP) specifies a 200,000A short-circuit current rating while consuming one-third the space of equivalent-rated circuit breakers and two-thirds less space than a traditional fusible switch. The CCP also specifies a voltage rating of 600 Vac, promising more installation flexibility compared to slash-rated devices at 480/277 Vac. In addition, the CCP is horsepower rated for protecting motor circuits, and UL98 disconnect rated for protecting branch circuits with Class CC Fuses. Additionally, the CCP is finger-safe to IP20 and features a lockout/tagout capability. COOPER BUSSMANN ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES, Boca Raton, FL. (888) 414-2645.
