Built to provide longer life and higher performance than similar gearmotors in the same size package, the WX high-torque gearhead drives applications such as conveyor systems, packaging equipment, metering devices, and commercial appliances. The exterior of the WX gearhead is identical to older W models with the internals completely redesigned. Features include steel helical gears and synthetic lubricant. The steel gearing is designed to AGMA 9 standards or higher and the synthetic lubricant improves lifespan and allows the unvented gearmotors to operate over a wide temperature range. Gear ratios range from 4:1 to 312:1. The 12 WX stock models are configurable for a three-hole mounting pattern via a simple bolt-on adaptor plate. Additionally, the WX gearhead is paired with the company’s latest three-wire reversible 34R, 100-mm diameter, single-phase 1/7 HP motor winding. BODINE ELECTRIC CO., Chicago, IL. (800) 726-3463.
