The miniature, hermetically-sealed unit is suited for three-phase brushless dc applications, including robotics, electromechanical valve assemblies, positioning systems, battery-operated motors, fans and blowers, and more. It contains the latest ASIC technology for commutation, cross-conduction protection, braking, under-voltage lockout protection, temperature-compensated reference, and cycle-by-cycle current limiting.
