Motor-Driven Mirror Mount Integrates Controller/Driver

April 28, 2011
The CONEX-AG-M100D embarks as a remote-controllable, piezo-motor-driven mirror mount integrating a two-axis absolute position sensor.

The CONEX-AG-M100D embarks as a remote-controllable, piezo-motor-driven mirror mount integrating a two-axis absolute position sensor. Capable of repeatable or absolute positioning tasks, MIM in open loop is 2 µrad over a ±0.75º range and 0.001º with a bi-directional repeatability of 0.01º in closed loop. With the absolute position sensor, users can also save a position into memory and recall that position upon start-up without having to rely on a home or reference location. NEWPORT CORP., Irvine, CA.
