Protection against short cycling of compressors or other motors is provided by the T2D Series of two-in-one solid-state lockout timers. At the end of each operation, a lockout delay begins that prevents the restarting of the compressor or motor until the delay ends. In addition, the unit may also be connected to operate as a traditional delay-on-make timer. To protect against low-voltage startup after a power loss, the unit begins a random start delay upon application of input voltage. The timers offer a 1A steady and 10A inrush output and repeat accuracy of ±1%.
