Performing in applications normally closed to absolute encoders, the Kubler 3650 and 3670 series magnetic encoders provide a resolution of 9 bits with SSI, 4 mA to 20 mA, or 0V to 10V outputs. Their magnets are configurable for measurement ranges of 45°, 90°, 180°, or 360°. The components reportedly exhibit a longer service life and higher reliability than potentiometers or commercial grade encoders and are particularly resistant to humidity and condensation. They carry an IP69K rating, operate over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and withstand shock in excess of 500g and vibration levels beyond 30g due to die-cast housings. Additionally, integrated LEDs for reference point detection ease start-up and diagnostics. TURCK INC., Plymouth MN. (800) 544-7769.
