Meeting the requirements for high-temperature spectrometer applications, the LA13-12 voice-coil actuator performs reliably at an ambient temperature of 400ºF.

Meeting the requirements for high-temperature spectrometer applications, the LA13-12 voice-coil actuator performs reliably at an ambient temperature of 400ºF. The company housed the component within the Model LA13-12-000A package, creating a new design that includes special Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets and reinforced magnet wire insulation that can withstand ambient temperatures up to 400ºF, a continuous stall force of 0.49 lb., and a total stroke of 0.25”. Pricing for the LA13-12 is from the $100's in production quantities. BEI KIMCO MAGNETICS, Vista, CA. (800) 572-7560.
