Windows Environment Develops Motion Control Applications

Sept. 1, 1998

With MotionObjects, a graphical and integrated application development environment, a Windows 95 or NT system is transformed into a digital oscilloscope and motion-control development system. It includes a set of tools for tuning of servodrives and servomotors.Within the environment are tools for editing, compiling, graphing, linking and debugging applications. Additional tools are available for setting up a coordinate system and for defining axes, masters and programs within the system. The tools complement the company's SP2k Series multi-axis digital positioning brushless servodrives. Programming the SP2k with MotionObjects is said to be extremely easy; even more so if the user has familiarity with BASIC.
