Targeting unmanned aerial or ground systems, the company’s 640 x 512 resolution, uncooled shortwave infrared (SWIR) camera weighs less than 120g and measures less than 4.9 cubic inches complete. Features include a 23-mm f/1.15 lens providing a 40° field of view and a sensitivity from 0.7 µm to 1.7 µm. The camera is installed on the Raven UAS with a 320 x 240 resolution long-wave infrared microbolometer. The shortwave infrared camera augments the microbolometer’s thermal night imaging capabilities by enabling visual verification of laser location and imaging during thermal crossover, the hours of sunrise and sunset.
