The ColdFire Development Suite incorporates new optimizations and calling conventions to speed up code execution on Freescale microprocessors, such as the 32-bit Coldfire. Additional enhancements increase register usage for inline functions and parameter passing that also improves performance. The suite's compiler carries out more extensive code-flow analysis to incorporate these enhancements. The suite includes a C compiler assembler, linker, simulator, and debugger. The company also offers tools for the Freescale MCF547X/8X. The suite costs $2130.
