The addition of IPsec, Internet key exchange (IKE), and secure sockets layer (SSL) protocol support has brought increased security to RTXC Quadnet TCP/IP software. The IKE support handles preshared keys as well as DSA and RSA signature authentication methods. Encryption algorithms include Data Encryption Standard (DES), 3DES, Blowfish, Cast, Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), and TwoFish. The SSL module costs $8000 per project. IPsec/IKE support costs $36,000 per project.
