An innovative software component that allows real-time data to be remotely viewed across any TCP/IP-based network, LABTECH NetTrender is a standalone client/server software for OEMs and end users that provides remote access to any portion of a data acquisition and control applications via the World Wide Web. This software makes use of proven push technology first developed by LABTECH as part of its instrumentation and control software, NOTEBOOKpro and CONTROLpro. The new software component lets software vendors and in-house programmers add real-time remote process monitoring to existing data acquisition and process controls applications. NetTrender accomplishes this by pushing real-time data from remote locations back to the server, thus allowing an authorized user to monitor the process, regardless of where they are on the company network or Internet.
