If you're familiar with Microsoft's Visual Studio .Net but need to target Linux as an embedded platform, Lynuxworks' VisualLynux 5.0 may be the solution. It adds a small toolbar to the IDE and a host of Linux tools including cross compilers, a target platform administrator, and two debuggers. VisualLynux works with LynxOS and BlueCat Linux from Lynuxworks. Apps can be traced using Lynuxworks' Sypker 2.0. VisualLynux pricing starts at $1999.
