The RT Series of non-inductive, high-surge, ISO-certified, ceramic composite resistors is well-suited for circuits associated with surges, high peak power or high energy. These resistors can often replace carbon composition resistors that are difficult to source. They offer enhanced performance in high-voltage power supplies, RC snubber circuits, and inrush limiters. In pulsed applications, the resistors distribute the energy uniformly throughout their structure, resulting in lower thermal stress and increased reliability. In many cases, they provide reduced size compared with wirewound or film types. A solvent-resistant epoxy coating allows operation in most environments, and axial-lead construction is convenient to use.
