Designed for UPS, industrial, hybrid electric vehicle, and fuel cell applications, the PC2500 capacitor packs 2,500 Farads in 161 mm x 62 mm x 61.5 mm case. The component caches 7,800 Joules of energy at a nominal 2.5V. It is said to roughly provide 10 times the power density of ordinary batteries.
The PC2500 is packaged in a durable, light-weight, hermetically-sealed aluminum can and features easily accessible terminals and an electrostatic storage capability that can cycle hundreds of thousands of charges and discharges without performance degradation.
