The results are in. You have selected the winners of EE–Evaluation Engineering‘s second annual Readers’ Choice Awards.
Because of your interest, seven companies from around the United States, each representing a different field in the electronics test industry, will receive 1995 Readers’ Choice Awards from Vern Nelson, founder and publisher of EE.
The ATE category winner is Wandel & Goltermann for its ATE VXI-based test solutions for telecommunications products. In EMI/RFI, top honors go to Schlegel Corp. for the Conductive Envelope. The Stanley-Vidmar StaticGard(R) Workstations rate the highest for ESD readers.
In ESS, the DP540 Shaker Controller from Data Physics Corp. collects the prize. Data Physics is no stranger to these awards, since the company won a 1994 EE Readers’ Choice Award in the same category.
Cincinnati Electronics, featuring flexible infrared imaging systems, is the winner in Inspection. For Instrumentation, B+K Precision beats all competitors with the 878 LCR Meter. And rounding out the categories is Software, where Hewlett-Packard’s HP VEE Visual Engineering Environment is the top choice.
