VXI Spectrum Analyzer Features 8.5 GHz Range

The new V9085 VXI Spectrum Analyzer covers a frequency range from 100 kHz to 8.5 GHz. The C-size, triple-wide module uses special grounding and shielding techniques to isolate it from other instruments in the mainframe.

The message-based instrument can be controlled with a Windows-based user interface, or interfaces may be custom-designed using available programming libraries. The swept frequency accuracy is accomplished via fully synthesized digital tuning that locks the synthesizer to the reference oscillator at each point in a sweep. Digital sampling and DSP techniques are implemented at the final IF frequencies to obtain detailed spectral and amplitude information from the signal. Starts at $32,000.
