Signal Analyzer Offers 102.4 kHz Bandwidth

The SR785 FFT Signal Analyzer features a 32-bit floating-point processor for applications involving modal analysis, machine diagnostics, vibration testing, control systems design, and acoustic measurement. Using two separate 16-bit ADCs, all single- and two-channel measurements can be made on spans up to 102.4 kHz.

An -80 dBc low-distortion source generates sine, two-tone, white noise, pink noise, burst, chirp, and arbitrary waveform outputs. The analyzer has 8 MB of memory expandable to 32 MB, up to 800 lines of frequency resolution, and a 20-pole, 20-zero multiple-degree-of-freedom curve fitter. A 1.44-MB floppy disk drive, GPIB and RS-232 interfaces, and a printer port accommodate saving, printing, plotting, and exporting data. $10,950. Stanford Research Systems, (408) 744-9040.
