LXI Carrier Supports Four Function Cards

The ProDAQ 6100 LXI Function Card Carrier, an LXI Class B device, provides access to up to four ProDAQ Function Cards via a standardized Gigabit LAN interface, a synchronization API, and support for the IEEE 1588 protocol. An optional trigger interface connects LXI devices by a physical daisy chain or a star configuration based on an eight-channel LVDS signaling system providing accuracy of ~20 ns.

The ProDAQ 6100 accommodates the same input and output function cards as used with the company’s VXIbus carrier boards. The selection consists of 20 function cards including 100-kHz A/D cards, 3-MHz digitizers with up to 24-bit resolution, DACs with accuracies better that 1 µV, arbitrary waveform generators with 16-bit resolution, and different digital and serial IO cards.
