The GP-24100 features arbitrary digital waveform generator and logic analyzer capabilities and enables stimulation and analysis of digital interfaces. The device streams data to/from a PC to 16 data lines at up to 10 MHz with six additional control lines for repetitive sequence generation, in/out clocking, or trigger definition. It has an 8-MB embedded memory buffer and supports 100-MHz operation on all 16 digital lines and a maximum sustained throughput up to 30 MB/s via USB 2.0.
The embedded development tool ships with 8PI Control Panel Software, which provides graphical scripting (TCL/tk) and programming (C/C++) interfaces to automate tasks and bridge between programming environments and hardware prototypes. 8PI helps define I/O clocks, repetitive sequences, and trigger patterns and build custom applications.
