The GAUSS time-domain emission (TDEMI) 18G instrument covers the 9-kHz to 18-GHz frequency range for military applications. Measurement time can be reduced by up to a factor of 4,000 compared to a conventional RF test receiver. The system has two measuring modes. The test receiver mode can be used for compliant measurements according to CISPR 16-1-1. The weighted spectrogram mode shows the emission level against time and frequency for measuring and analyzing complex disturbances.
