Miniature ESD Protection Devices

The 0201-sized Silicon ESD (SESD) Devices have a 0.6 mm x 0.3 mm x 0.3 mm footprint and bidirectional operation. The 0.6-pF low capacitance SESD0201C-006-058 has a low insertion loss (<0.5 dB to 3 GHz) and high linearity of voltage vs. frequency that help minimize signal degradation. The SESD0201C-120-058 is a 12-pF device that can be used for low-speed generic interfaces such as keypads, power buttons, speakers, and microphone ports in portable electronics. Both the SESD0201C-006-058 and the SESD0201C-012-058 offer 8-kV contact and 15-kV air discharge protection per IEC61000-4-2.
