Optical analyzer achieves 76-dB stray light suppression ratio

A 76-dB stray light suppression ratio tops the list of features for the AQ6370C, an optical spectrum analyzer applicable to both single-mode and multimode fibers and providing a wavelength range of 600 nm to 1,700 nm. It is equipped with a monochromator that can resolve an optical signal with 0.02-nm wavelength resolution and a 73-dB dynamic range and remove optical noise that originates near a measured signal. Measurements of 0.2 s at a 100-nm wavelength span can evaluate weak signals as well as spectra having multiple steep peaks.

Two versions are available with a wide level range of +20 to -90 dBm. The standard model has a high wavelength accuracy of ±0.02 nm in the C+L band, and the high-performance unit supports ±0.01-nm wavelength accuracy in the C band.
