IP solution native part of boundary scan platform

ChipVORX is an in-system technology that can configure and control chip embedded test, debug, and programming functions based on the IEEE 1149.1 test bus protocol and is fully synchronous with other boundary scan operations. To create an IP solution as a native part of a system platform, it uses a communications interface in the SYSTEM CASCON™, a JTAG/boundary scan development environment.

The ChipVORX models contain all necessary structural and functional information to control the chip-embedded target circuitry. The models are protected by enable codes and can be generated by the company, authorized IP partners, and customers. The open architecture provides flexibility to support the latest standards, such as IEEE P1687. It is supported by SCANBOOSTER™ boundary scan controllers and the SCANFLEX® hardware platform.
