System provides data collection, control, and alarming functions

March 29, 2011

The LogMessage Datalogging System is available in seven configurations that incorporate up to 30 analog inputs with a sampling rate up to 1,200 Hz for measuring voltage, current, thermocouple, or RTD sensors. The different configurations offer a mix of digital inputs, counters, analog outputs, and digital outputs. Virtual internal channels support calculations, statistics, and PID control.

The stand-alone system has 1 GB of internal memory to record up to 128 million data points. It incorporates an Ethernet LAN interface connection to a network or PC and two serial ports.

LogMessage ships with DataService software to configure measurements, calculations, control, and alarms. The package includes ProfiSignal Go software for on-line and off-line monitoring and downloading data and drivers for LabVIEW, DASYLab, Modbus TCP, dot.Net, and an OPC server. CAS DataLoggers
