Four-channel scope delivers 500-MHz bandwidth
The four-channel PicoScope 6404 PC Oscilloscope has an analog bandwidth of 500 MHz, a real-time sampling rate of 5 GS/s, and an ultra-deep 1‑GS buffer memory. It offers a built-in function generator, an arbitrary waveform generator, mask limit testing, switchable bandwidth limiting on each channel, and switchable 1-MΩ and 50-Ω inputs in addition to the standard spectrum analysis, advanced triggering, and serial decoding features on the company’s PC oscilloscopes.
The scope connects to any Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 computer with a USB 2.0 port. A kit with four 500-MHz compensated 10x probes and a free software development kit including example code for writing an application to control the scope or to use it as a digitizer are available.
