EADS North America Test and Services, a division of EADS North America, has reached an agreement with DynamicSignals LLC to be the exclusive distributor of its KineticSystems brand in the United States. The KineticSystems modular, high-density dynamic test instruments complement the vibration test products currently offered by EADS North America Test and Services.
“This relationship will allow both of our companies to broaden our reach to existing and new customers by providing even more highly integrated solutions to satisfy their test requirements,” said Patrick Cassady, executive vice president, DynamicSignals, LLC. “We believe that adding KineticSystems’ 40 years of data acquisition expertise to EADS North America Test and Services’ industry-leading position in integrated ATE solutions enhances and broadens the range of capabilities we can offer our customers.”
The KineticSystems products will augment EADS North America Test and Services’ offerings in diverse test platforms such as cPCI/PXI, VXI, and CAMAC; in the areas of vibration, strain, temperature and pressure test; and in data acquisition. They will be incorporated into the company’s automatic test stations as well as sold to existing customers as stand-alone products or for integration into their test stations.
“We are well acquainted with the KineticSystems brand since we incorporate some of these products into the jet engine test systems that we currently supply to the U.S. Navy, and we are satisfied with the quality and state-of-the-art performance they provide,” said Jim Mulato, president of EADS North America Test and Services. “The standard and custom ATE solutions that we have provided for 50 years are strengthened by the addition of this product line.”
“The product line expansion is consistent with our strategy to provide our customers with the most advanced automatic test solutions,” said Mulato. “It also supports EADS North America’s goal to grow our business in the United States and to enhance our test and services offering.”
KineticSystems (www.kscorp.com), Gage Applied Technologies, and Preston Scientific are brands of DynamicSignals headquartered in Lockport, IL.
The company’s product offering traditionally has been designed as general-purpose function cards to meet industry-recognized standards including CAMAC, VXI, PCI, cPCI, and PXI platforms. Additionally, they have developed proprietary platforms to meet the specific needs of certain applications or market requirements. These products range from very high-speed, low channel-count digitizers to lower-speed, high-channel count data acquisition cards, and they continue to innovate adding new high-performance products to the portfolio. As a result, DynamicSignals’ products have been integrated into a wide variety of applications including various jet and rocket engine, wind tunnel, structural and ballistic test systems. www.dynamicsignals.com
