By combining four rugged VIBbox-64 enclosures, the vendor has expanded its sound and vibration measurement capabilities to 256 IEPE channels.
All channel data is available at the same time due to the simultaneous operation and parallel configuration for a throughput rate of 51.2 kHz on each channel. This parallel measurement capability assures that vibration data can be analyzed at the same instant in time without the time lapse and phase difference of multiplexed systems. Common applications are acoustic, audio, and vibration testing on large structures such as airplane wings, turbines, trucks, and water vessels. Data Translation

Precision differential amplifier
The LTC6363 low-power, high-precision, fully differential amplifier is optimized for driving high-performance 16-, 18- and 20-bit SAR and ∑∆ DCs. Featuring 100-µV maximum input offset voltage and 2.9 nV/√Hz input-referred voltage noise, the LTC6363 consumes just 19 mW on a 10-V supply.
It can convert single-ended signals to differential outputs or be used in a fully differential manner, settling an 8-V (peak-to-peak) differential output step to 18-bit resolution in just 780 ns. Four external resistors set the LTC6363 gain. The LT5400 family of highly matched quad resistors can be used to achieve excellent linearity. Linear Technology
The Model 891 300-kHz bench LCR meter can measure inductance, capacitance, and resistance with 0.05% best impedance accuracy over a fully adjustable test frequency range of 20 Hz to 300 kHz. With a 300-point linear and logarithmic sweep function, bin comparator, and versatile remote-control interfaces, the 891 is suitable for characterizing components in laboratory, quality control, and small-volume production environments.
On the production line, test time can be significantly reduced using multiple-bin comparator sorting functions. These comparator functions allow users to set high and low limits for sorting components within their specifications. B&K Precision
The Yokogawa AQ6375B optical spectrum analyzer, covering wavelengths from 1,200 to 2,400 nm, incorporates a number of new features including a gas purging function, a built-in cut-off filter, data-logging capabilities, a double-speed mode, and support for Windows file sharing.
Wavelength accuracy of ±0.05 nm (1,520 to 1,580 nm) ±0.50 nm (full range), wavelength resolution of 0.05 nm, and a wide close-in dynamic range of 55 dB are accompanied by a wide measurement level range from +20 dBm to -70 dBm. The use of an advanced monochromator design helps to separate spectral signals in close proximity to one another and improves the dynamic range by reducing the influence of stray light.
A data-logging function records analysis results. An optional Windows file-sharing function also is available in addition to the existing Ethernet/GPIB and USB interfaces. Yokogawa Meters & Instruments

Precision digital measuring instrument
According to the company, with an accuracy class of 0.0005 (or 5 ppm), the DMP41 is the most precise amplifier for strain gage-based sensor measurements. The DMP41 is available in a 19-inch rack-mount enclosure that enables the instrument’s use in environments with demanding EMC conditions, such as the production floor.
Manufacturers of strain gage-based sensors, such as force, torque, and pressure transducers; load cells; and flow-rate sensors now can use the DMP41 to more precisely calibrate and adjust their sensors during production. Like its predecessor, the DMP41 can be ordered with either two or six measurement channels.
In addition to manual control via the integrated keyboard, users now can control the instrument via a touchscreen or PC. To connect the DMP41 to a PC, users can choose an Ethernet, USB, or RS-232 interface. HBM
