The company's latest card-edge connectors interface to PCI Express (PCIe) ExpressModule I/O adapters found in rack servers and offer two connector-size and interface options. Part series 10055293 consists of 98-position connectors that support up to x8 PCIe connections, and series 10055295 supports 140-position connectors and integrates storage interfaces for up to four x1 ports of SATA/SAS and sideband signals plus the x8 PCIe link. The card-edge connectors rely on an eye-of-needle-compliant section for termination to a backplane and accommodate PCBs ranging in thickness from 2.36 mm to 4.19 mm.
