Tyco’s second generation of PARALIGHT QSFP+ active optical cable assemblies forecast significant power and cost savings through fully integrated optical engines that use less power, are lower in cost, and offer higher performance than the previous generation. Designed with internally-terminated optics, the component eliminates the need to clean an optical connector. Additionally, the second generation PARALIGHT QSFP+ active optical cables offer improved cable management though a light-weight design, smaller diameter of 3 mm, and a tight bend radius.
