This tubing is finding increased usage in medical electronic as well as standard electronic applications. Some of the typical invasive medical electronic applications for heat shrink tubing include ultrasound ca-theters and probes, thermocouples (for measuring tissue temperature), heart monitors, and electrophysiology catheters.
In addition, there are many non-invasive medical electronic applications including insulation and protection of wiring and other internal components in various portable electronic devices.
