Ultra-thin-wall PET heat-shrink tubing is now available in wall thicknesses from 5µ to 100µ and with diameters from 0.01" to 1". This tubing is finding increased usage in medical electronic as well as standard electronic applications. Some of the typical invasive medical electronic applications for heat shrink tubing include ultrasound ca-theters and probes, thermocouples (for measuring tissue temperature), heart monitors, and electrophysiology catheters.
