The INTERBUS Loop2 machine-mountable I/O module uses the power supply not only to power the I/O devices, but also to transmit network signals to the devices. Using Manchester Encoding technology, the unit modulates the INTERBUS protocol signal onto the current signal generated by the power supply. The physical network connection is achieved by means of a insulation-displacement connection that eliminates the need for costly network cable connections and reduces the time it takes to wire a system. Loop2 doubles the distance between devices from 10 meters to 20 meters and has expanded the total Loop2 branch to a maximum of 200 meters. Call for pricing.
