Reportedly, the EP30 low-viscosity adhesive and sealant develops impressive physical strength when cured at ambient temperatures and curing can be accelerated using moderate heat. It adheres to a wide variety of substrates including metals, ceramics, glass, and many plastics and typical lap shear strength exceeds 3,000 psi for aluminum-to-aluminum bonds. For medical applications, a USP Class VI approved version, EP30MED, is also available.
