Targeted at applications where timer control is required, the Model 283 dual-range, programmable timer features two timing ranges that can, reportedly, be quickly programmed. After a specific time is programmed, operation requires selecting the desired timer range via a SPST switch and pressing the start button, which can be connected to an ac-power line for 110V/220V activation or directly to the PCB for low-voltage operation. The user-selected timer range will run for the programmed time period, stop automatically, and an optional panel-mount LED will indicate that an operation, such as dispensing a liquid, is in progress. Specifications include an input power of 110/220 Vac 50/60 Hz, selectable either as a factory setting or via jumper settings in the field, a timing range of 0.05s to 54 min. with a timing resolution of 0.05s, and a repeatability of 0.1s. Measuring 3.6" x 2.35" x 1.5", maximum operating temperature is 158° F. SELCO PRODUCTS CO., Anaheim, CA. (800) 229-2332.
