LED Drivers Bask Outdoors

April 4, 2011
Groomed for outdoor environments, the BPWXL Series 4W, 6W, and 10W constant-current LED drivers deliver 350-mA constant current operation with 1% regulation over an input range from 100 to 308 Vac, 50/60 Hz.

Groomed for outdoor environments, the BPWXL Series 4W, 6W, and 10W constant-current LED drivers deliver 350-mA constant current operation with 1% regulation over an input range from 100 to 308 Vac, 50/60 Hz. The drivers employ cold-starting circuitry tested to -55°C and patented circuit designs using a custom ASIC controller. The modules meet NEMA 6P / IP67 moisture and submersion requirements. Other features include 3 kVac of isolation, over-current, short-circuit, overload, and open-circuit protection, an operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, 80% efficiency, and a package measuring 1.3” x 1.9” x 1”. MTBF exceeds 500,000 hours. BIAS POWER LLC, Buffalo Grove, IL. (847) 215-2427.
