Believed to be an industry first, Standex Electronics’ non-contact proximity alarm delivers both audio and visual alerts.

Believed to be an industry first, Standex Electronics’ non-contact proximity alarm delivers both audio and visual alerts.  When the trigger element nears the base element an LED indicator light is illuminated and an audio warning sounds.  The technology is built around magnetic reed switches that sense proximity without contact.  Suitable applications include position sensing, child safety, door ajar indicators, pet safety, and security. The battery powered component requires no wires or hookups and measures 3.7 mm in length. STANDEX ELECTRONICS INC., Cincinnati, OH. (866) 782-6339.
