Well-suited for use in automotive interior lighting applications, these surface-mount LEDs are high brightness AlInGaP red and amber lamps in 3.2 x 2.8 mm SMT packages. The package is form and functionally equivalent to the Siemens TOPLED that is widely used in European automotive applications. Typical luminous intensity for the new LEDs is 100 mcd at 20 mA drive current with a 120° viewing angle. Operating temperature is -55°C to 110°C. Price is $0.13 each/1 million.
