Testers Detect Voltage Without Contact

June 1, 2000

Providing non-contact detection of 12 to 90 vac, the Model GVD-504LV Low Volt Circuit Alert is well suited for work with low volt controllers such as thermostats, garage door openers, and outdoor lighting. The Model GVD-505A provides an adjustable non-contact detection of 24 to 600 vac, letting users tune the sensitivity to help distinguish polarity on a line, to detect the presence of lower voltages, or to detect live unshielded lines behind drywalls. The testers have an upgraded battery check light that indicates that the unit is ON and the batteries are in operating condition.
