Hyundai Autonet taps Freescale-Fujitsu combo

Hyundai Autonet plans to use Freescale Semiconductor’s 32-bit, 400 MHz, PowerPC-based MPC5200 processor; Fujitsu Microelectronics' Coral P/PA (MB86296) graphics display controller and Tilcon Software's graphics software in the next generation of Hyundai’s NAVI family of 3D navigation systems.

Hyundai Autonet plans to use Freescale Semiconductor’s 32-bit, 400 MHz, PowerPC-based MPC5200 processor; Fujitsu Microelectronics' Coral P/PA (MB86296) graphics display controller and Tilcon Software's graphics software in the next generation of Hyundai’s NAVI family of 3D navigation systems. Freescale and Fujitsu are working together on embedded solutions for in-vehicle navigation, infotainment and driver information systems (DIS), as well as industrial control. Fujitsu and Tilcon have also joined the mobileGT Alliance, a vendor organization focused on DIS technologies.
